After 12 years as “Exton Web Design,” I’ve officially rebranded to Hirst Digital for 2026 and beyond.
Aside from the name, nothing has really changed – I just wanted to emphasize the “business is personal” / anti-agency vibe and ditch the generic, geography-based brand.
While I grew up in Glenmoore, PA, graduated from Downingtown East High School in 2005 (wow, I feel ancient), and launched my business in Exton in 2013 – I actually serve clients all over the country now.
The majority of my clients have never heard of “Exton” and thought it was just a cool word I made up. Meanwhile, I moved to Southwest Florida in 2021, and new Exton-based prospects were confused that I couldn’t meet them in person.
While I’m sacrificing some local SEO ranking, I’d rather operate from an authentic place. Besides, 90% of my business is referral work anyway.
Still serving Chester County: I know the area like the back of my hand and visit family often. Just wanted to be transparent while emphasizing the anti-agency approach at Hirst Digital.
