Project Overview
Frost Echols is a South Carolina-based law firm with a distinctive dual practice. The firm defends creditors and collection agencies in federal and state courts nationwide while also providing comprehensive civil litigation services—including personal injury, workers’ compensation, construction law, and business disputes—to individuals and businesses throughout the Carolinas and select other states.
With attorneys admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, six federal circuit courts, and 31 federal district courts across 12 states, the firm brings both concentrated industry knowledge and full-service capabilities to every matter.
The Challenge
This website redesign presented a unique challenge: merging two law firms with distinct audiences and service models into a single, cohesive digital presence.
When Frost Echols merged with Burnette Law, the firm needed to serve two very different client bases simultaneously:
- National creditor and collection industry clients seeking a powerful, authoritative firm
- Local individuals and families in North Carolina, South Carolina, Iowa, Ohio, and Texas looking for accessible, community-focused representation.
The solution required careful navigation of both brand positioning and technical SEO considerations. We developed a unified mega menu system that clearly separated the firm’s two practice areas while showcasing the depth of services under each category. This allowed visitors to immediately identify their needs and navigate to relevant content without confusion.
A critical component of the project involved preserving Burnette Law’s strong local SEO presence. We created dedicated service pages for specific towns and communities across the Carolinas, then implemented 301 redirects from the former BurnetteLaw.com URLs to maintain search rankings and organic traffic flow.
The result was a seamless digital merger that honored both firms’ strengths. The new site successfully positions Frost Echols as both a formidable national presence in creditors’ rights and a trusted local advocate for civil litigation matters.
Post-launch metrics confirmed the project’s success: traffic increased, the client reception was enthusiastic, and the firm has continued to expand its team and grow its practice.
