Project Overview
Vybe Vault RnB is a live artist showcase platform founded by music industry veteran Morace Landy and Elaine Landy. Launched in May 2024, the platform connects emerging R&B talent with industry executives, offering mentorship opportunities and career development resources. With Morace’s decades of experience working alongside artists like Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Mariah Carey at major labels including Atlantic, Epic, and Warner/Reprise, Vybe Vault RnB provides aspiring artists access to the kind of industry expertise that can make or break a music career.
The inaugural showcase at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn spotlighted winner Adam Ness, who now receives mentorship from Grammy-winning producer Troy Taylor. Quarterly showcases continue to feature top-tier judges and VIP guests from across the music industry, including talent agencies, radio personalities, and established producers.
Scope of Work
I built a comprehensive new website for Vybe Vault that serves both as a marketing platform and a functional submission portal for aspiring contestants. Working from the client’s brand style guide, I developed a site that captures the energy and prestige of the showcase events.
The homepage features a custom-edited background video in the hero section that immediately communicates the platform’s dynamic, professional atmosphere. I created all marketing copy for the site, ensuring the messaging resonated with both artists and industry professionals.
Key features include dedicated sections highlighting current contestants and judges for upcoming events, alongside galleries celebrating past winners and participants. I built a custom Press page using a Custom Post Type to showcase media coverage from outlets like Billboard, Fox5, and The Industry Cosign.
The centerpiece of the site’s functionality is a comprehensive submissions form where artists can upload their music, headshots, and other required materials while agreeing to contest terms. The form routes submissions to multiple Vybe Vault administrators for review, streamlining the contestant selection process and ensuring no promising talent slips through the cracks.
